TEI Wins US Navy's LM2500 Power Turbine Maintenance Tender

Türkiye's leading engine company, TEI, has won the US Navy's maintenance tender for the power turbine modules of LM2500 engines. With its 40 years of experience in the field of aviation engines, TEI, after signing the gas generator depot-level maintenance contract for LM2500 engines with a ceiling value of USD 45.6 million with the US Navy in 2024, signed a new power turbine depot-level maintenance contract with a ceiling value of USD 67.5 million in the second quarter of 2025.

TEI successfully carries out MRO activities for LM2500 gas turbine engines of both the Turkish Navy and the US Navy, which have the largest LM2500 fleet in the world, at its facilities equipped with advanced technology in Eskişehir. TEI has achieved a level of superior technology and competent human resources, enabling it to provide MRO services for LM2500 engines in the inventories of many countries.

As a result, TEI has become a globally preferred strategic MRO center, ensuring the sustainability of propulsion systems for frigates, corvettes, destroyers, and amphibious ships. The US Navy's choice of TEI once again demonstrated TEI's reliability and technical excellence within the international defense industry ecosystem.
