AquiSense Sends UV-C System to the International Space Station

The Potable Water Dispenser (PWD), designed by Leidos and equipped with AquiSense Technologies’ PearlAqua Micro point-of-use UV-C LED disinfection system, was launched into space aboard the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. Designed to provide safe and clean drinking water for astronauts on the ISS, this innovative system represents a successful collaboration between AquiSense Technologies and Leidos, a global leader in aerospace and defense solutions.
Using the popular PearlAqua Micro platform, AquiSense delivered the UV-C LED water disinfection system within the PWD, including the following highlights:
