The core technical solution centers on the scale-up of the Toutatis short-range loitering munition. Mechanically, the system incorporates a versatile deployment architecture, allowing it to be operated by dismounted infantry or launched directly from combat vehicles, aircraft, and naval platforms. To maintain operational integrity, the guidance system features electronic counter-countermeasures to resist electromagnetic jamming, keeping human operators securely within the command-and-control loop. Deployment and Tactical Vehicle Integration
A primary use case of this joint technical framework is the integration of the loitering munition platforms into the newly developed 4 Troop tactical vehicle, unveiled at the Eurosatory exhibition. The vehicle acts as a mobile command-and-control hub, embedding the drone systems directly into the physical chassis. Renault Group manages the vehicle engineering and hybrid powertrain integration, while Thales integrates the communications array, sensor suites, and software tools directly into the vehicular digital infrastructure.

Full-scale production lines are scheduled to begin operations as early as 2027. The joint manufacturing infrastructure is engineered to achieve a scalable output capacity of 1,000 munition units per month within the first year of operation, ensuring a resilient and secure supply chain that strengthens national defense industry competitiveness.
