Anduril Rocket Motor Systems has successfully conducted a static test firing of the Anduril Denali™ 18-inch hypersonic booster at our 450-acre production and test facility in McHenry, Mississippi. This milestone marks a significant step forward in delivering affordable, advanced hypersonic propulsion systems at a critical time for the United States and its allies.
Anduril’s proprietary manufacturing technologies redefine the production of solid rocket motors. Our single-piece-flow manufacturing paradigm, enabled by Anduril’s bladeless speedmixing technology, enables unprecedented speed, flexibility, and scalability, ensuring delivery of large volumes of solid rocket boosters at dramatically reduced costs. The successful test firing of Denali validates this revolutionary approach, underscoring our ability to meet the evolving needs of the hypersonic domain.
To further drive innovation and affordability, Anduril is addressing another longstanding challenge in the solid rocket motor industry: supply chain consolidation. The continued consolidation of suppliers for critical rocket motor components has exacerbated delays, lengthened lead times, and increased costs. In response, Anduril announced a new partnership with Karman Space & Defense, a first-time rocket motor case supplier. Together, we have developed, tested, and delivered the Denali rocket motor case, demonstrating how non-traditional providers can inject agility and competition into the supply chain. Karman, with over 20 years of flight-proven performance and expertise in hypersonic missions, brings an innovative approach that will compress lead times, increase affordability, and expand the industrial base for solid rocket propulsion systems, benefitting the entire industry.
The need for affordable and effective hypersonic systems has never been greater. Our adversaries continue to accelerate their hypersonic capabilities, underscoring the urgency for the U.S. and its allies to maintain a technological edge. Denali delivers exactly what is required: a highly capable, cost-effective hypersonic booster that enables high-cadence hypersonic flight testing.
