Impulse Embedded Ltd., a leading UK provider of industrial computing solutions, has announced the availability of the Neousys SEMIL-2200GC Series, a rugged edge AI platform designed to deliver real-time intelligence in mission-critical defence, security and industrial applications.
As modern defence operations increasingly rely on instant situational awareness and rapid decision-making at the edge, the SEMIL-2200GC is engineered to process high volumes of sensor and vision data locally, eliminating reliance on remote data centres and reducing response latency.

The SEMIL-2200GC is powered by the NVIDIA® L4 Tensor Core GPU, delivering advanced AI inference, computer vision and deep-learning acceleration at the tactical edge. Combined with Intel® Core™ processors, the platform enables high-throughput computing for applications such as autonomous navigation, object recognition, threat detection and sensor fusion.
Designed for extreme operating conditions, the system complies with MIL-STD-461G and MIL-STD-810H, ensuring resilience against shock, vibration, humidity and electromagnetic interference. Its fully sealed stainless-steel enclosure, rated to IP69K, provides complete protection from dust, high-pressure water ingress and corrosive environments, supporting continuous operation in the most demanding scenarios.

The SEMIL-2200GC is optimised for in-vehicle applications, supporting wide-range DC input (9V–36V), ignition control and compliance with MIL-STD-1275D power requirements. A fanless thermal architecture ensures silent, maintenance-free operation even under sustained GPU workloads.
Connectivity is secured through M12 connectors, with optional 10GbE networking for high-bandwidth camera and sensor systems, ensuring reliable data transfer in high-vibration environments.
Beyond vehicle platforms, the system is equally suited for fixed and remote installations, including naval vessels, coastal surveillance stations, airfield operations and defence infrastructure. The same rugged design also makes it ideal for industrial, mining and energy applications, enabling real-time AI processing in outdoor and hazardous environments.
